Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a medical provider?+

No. We coordinate medical flights. All medical care and clinical decisions are made by licensed air ambulance operators and their medical teams.

How fast can a medical flight leave?+

It depends on the patient, the aircraft location and permits. Urgent cases are handled immediately, 24 hours a day.

Can a family member travel with the patient?+

In most cases one family member can fly along, subject to space on board and the medical team's approval.

Does insurance cover medical flights?+

Some travel and health policies do. We can share quotes and documents with your insurer, but approval is decided by the insurer.

What information do you need?+

Patient location, destination, a short medical summary from the treating doctor, and a contact person. The operator's medical team may ask for more.
